Abstract

The article is devoted to protective and regulatory functions of legal system in the early medieval Europe. The subject of investigation is related to England, Norway, Spain and Byzantine Empire. The problem of law’s functions and legal system’s functions correlation is also discussed. The author considers peculiarities of legal culture and legal science in the content of legal system’s functions.
