Abstract
The article deals with the visual strategies that develop the cultural space of modern Russian city. As the object of the analyses we examine the cultural space of Yekaterinburg that represent interaction of these strategies. The author defines and names types of visual strategies, outlines essential features. The visual landscape of modern Yekaterinburg allows to determine the relation modes between these visual strategies.
