Abstract

The article sheds light on the connection between the initial historicity of Dasein made explicit by means of existential analysis and the “destruction of the history of metaphysics” project in Martin Heidegger’s hermeneutic phenomenology. The article explores basic meanings and dimensions of “history” and “historicity” and highlights their interrelation.
