Abstract
The author considers in the article various aspects of policy of republican governors during the period of B. Clinton’s presidency. He focuses on a problem of states’ economic development, social, educational and criminal policies. The author concludes that republican governors continued the tradition of the Reagan revolution of the 1980s rather than created a new political agenda.
